Sea View is perfect for couples traveling alone, single travellers or small families looking to enjoy time away from home looking out at the sea from the balcony and lounge/diner. (Sorry, but we cannot accommodate four adults/two couples in Sea View and would recommend Stourwood Corner in this instance.)
Sea View is located on the top floor (3rd floor) of a purpose-built seafront development known as Southbourne Sands* and is accessed via a well-maintained communal entrance and up a series of carpeted stairs (a total of 35 stairs in 5 runs of 7 stairs, sorry no lift). On entering the apartment the first thing you will notice is just how light and bright it is…the second, as you move through into the lounge/diner is the stunning sea view. The apartment has use of the landscaped communal gardens and a private garage.
Access to the sandy beach is via “Gordons zig zag” pathway on the cliff top opposite. The beach stretches as far as the eye can see in either direction (from Hengistbury Head in the East to Sandbanks in the West). A popular pub “The Spy Glass and Kettle” just along the road offers its own outdoor seating overlooking the cliff top. The high street, Southbourne Grove, with its array of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and more pubs/bars is just a 5 minute walk inland.

Looking to bring a buggy/bike/scooter/kayak/SUP? A secure garage is available for the storage of these items. It is also usable for parking a small car (internal dimensions 2.56m x 4.8m with a clear opening width of 2.14m)
Parking – if your car is too big for the garage/you have more than one car then on street parking is available. Whilst you cannot park for any length of time outside the garage (directly across from property entrance) you can park the car there to unload/load car as required. A car is not a necessity when staying in this location.
Holidaying with a dog? 1 well behaved small dog (only) welcome. A small crate can be provided on request. The stretch of beach nearest to Sea View is dog friendly all year round.
3-night minimum stay between end of September – end of March. Stays under 7 nights between April and September 2021 may be considered on an individual basis, please contact us to discuss.
Our larger property Stourwood Corner, and similar sized Stourcliffe Retreat are both within a 5 min walk from Sea View. As such, for families / friends looking to spend some time on holiday together whilst staying in separate accommodation you may want to consider booking multiple properties (subject to availability). *Please note, there is currently construction work of a luxury apartment block on the opposite corner of Clifton Road/Overcliff Road with completion due by end of 2022. Some building noise during daytime hours is therefore inevitable.
