About your hosts: Ginny & Nigel

Doesn’t everyone dream about living by the sea? We certainly did. One Sunday back in Spring 2015, after a very long week on the corporate treadmill we visited Southbourne. We fell in love. It felt special and we didn’t want to leave, a seed had been planted.

Within 3 months of that first visit we had secured our first Southbourne property, a doer-upper which we threw ourselves into renovating and went on to call home for the next 6 years.

The love we felt on our first visit was so strong that we wanted to be able to share our wonderful location with others and this was the start of what was to become Southbourne Holiday Lets.

Since 2018 we have been welcoming guests from all over the UK and further afield and we have loved every minute of it. We really do get so much out of helping busy people take some time out and create cherished memories. Through conversation, amazing reviews and repeat bookings we’ve learned that our guests really do cherish the location, quality and thoughtful details we offer.

Nigel and I ARE Southbourne Holiday Lets. All communication is directly with us, no third parties are involved. Whilst I (Ginny) look after the business side of things, Nigel actively manages all technical and maintenance aspects associated with our properties. We live in Southbourne ourselves (we wouldn’t want to live anywhere else) with our 2 Cavapoo dogs who we can be found walking on our year-round dog friendly beaches most days of the year. Our grown-up daughters love it here too, and now with a little granddaughter too, who spends a lot of time with us, we have most recently been enjoying exploring Southbourne and the local area through a child’s eyes.
